Promist

Join our dynamic team that merges rehearsals, vocal training, and live performance practice. Our goal is to elevate our musical skills and prepare for professional performance opportunities. We also offer voluntary spiritual companionship sessions outside the team, allowing members to experience the essence of Gospel Music through personal growth.

If you love singing and want to make an impact through music, are eager to explore different styles and languages, and wish to inspire others with the power of music — we invite you to audition!

Simply submit a short video to participate in the audition! We look forward to connecting with like-minded individuals!

Regular Activities Include:

Four rehearsals each month (minimum of 2 required)
One sectional practice (schedule varies)
Two vocal training sessions (Saturdays 18:00-19:00)
Monthly voluntary companionship meetings (first Saturday of each month)
Additional practices for performances as needed

Team Requirements:

Open to both believers and non-believers
Basic pitch and rhythm accuracy
Correct pronunciation in Mandarin and English
No music reading skills required
Willingness to cooperate and learn
Openness to new experiences
Regular practice times: every other Wednesday 20:00-21:30 and Saturday 19:30-21:00; attendance at least twice is mandatory

Membership Fee:
Fees after passing the audition and becoming an official member:

Upon passing the audition and becoming a member:
One-time membership fee: $1500 (includes team uniform and administrative costs)
Monthly fee: $1500 (half price for full-time students and those earning under $15,000 monthly)
No fees for individuals with special needs referred by relevant organizations (contact staff for details)

Audition Process:

First round: Submit a video
Second round: In-person Gospel workshop and interview (symbolic fee of $100)

Video Submission Requirements:

Brief self-introduction and your musical background
Perform one English and one Chinese song, each 1-3 minutes (a cappella or with accompaniment)
Explain why you want to join Promist
Submit your video via YouTube link, Google Drive, or Dropbox after registration
